Of course it’s worth using various treatments and cosmetics that delay their appearance. However, many women don’t know that they need to change a few habits in their everyday skin care

Wrinkles are a natural effect of skin aging. Over the years, skin becomes less supple and elastic. However, proper skin care can significantly delay this process. It is certainly worth not only to use good quality cosmetics, including anti-wrinkle creams, but also take advantage of various treatments. It is also key to take care of your body from the inside and pay attention to daily habits. It turns out that eliminating them will make us stay young longer

Take care of your diet

What we eat has a huge impact on our body, and therefore also on how we feel and look. If we consume too much sweets, alcohol, processed food, salty snacks, sweetened sodas and caffeine, we can be sure that our skin will not look its best. There will appear pimples, wrinkles, skin will become dull and gray. Therefore, to look young and radiant, you should make sure that your plate contains as many fruits and vegetables, which are rich in minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. If we are not able to control our own meals, we can take advice from a dietician, who will make a list of products that we should eat every day. He will also order a series of tests to determine what our body is lacking

It is also necessary to regularly hydrate your body. If we forget about it, our complexion will become dry and wrinkles will be more visible. Drinking enough water (about 1.5-2 liters a day) will make your complexion firmer and healthier. Water helps remove toxins from the body, and it also affects metabolism. It is worth preparing a separate bottle of water and control how much you drink

Proper sleep duration and position matter

The body regenerates during sleep. Therefore, constant lack of sleep will quickly affect our appearance. Dark circles, wrinkles – these are just some of the problems that will appear. The position in which we sleep is also crucial. If you want to delay the appearance of depressions in the skin, it is worth sleeping on your back. Why? Well, in other positions, the pillow presses on the skin, which promotes the formation of so-called sleep wrinkles, which are oblique or horizontal, asymmetrical lines. The most harmful is sleeping on your stomach. Then the skin is stretched, which inhibits blood circulation. As a result, it is deprived of adequate oxygen, so it not only does not regenerate, but also becomes less firm and wrinkles appear on it.

Put aside the stimulants

Much is said about the harmfulness of stimulants to the human body. They cause diseases and have a negative impact on our appearance. Alcohol and cigarettes accelerate the skin aging process. Regular drinking or smoking makes the skin less firm, dry and dull. Smokers develop so-called “smoker’s wrinkles”, vertical lines around the mouth

Don’t take hot baths

As we all know, nothing is as relaxing as a hot bath. As much as once in a while it can’t hurt, a regular one certainly won’t be good for your complexion. Hot water deprives our skin of natural fats that are responsible for creating an invisible protective barrier. Therefore, a better solution (and also stimulating), will be a cool shower, which will firm the skin and allow us to keep our youth for longer.
