5 recipes for homemade face and body scrubs

It takes approx. 4 minutes to read this article

Peeling is an ideal treatment thanks to which you will get rid of dead skin. This ritual will effectively stimulate your skin to produce new cells and cleanse it of toxins. In addition, your skin will become firmer, more elastic and glowing. Read on to find out how to make a peeling at home.

Properly conducted scrub will improve circulation, improve skin tone and refresh it. You do not have to buy expensive cosmetics to treat your skin to a SPA. Make scrubbing a part of your skin care routine. In addition to removing impurities, the massage will relax you and loosen your muscles. By making a scrub yourself at home, you will use only natural ingredients. The chemicals in drugstore products can irritate your skin.

How often to use the scrub

How often you should exfoliate depends on your skin type. Exfoliating too often can damage the skin’s protective layer. If you have oily skin, you should use it twice a week because of the large amount of sebum that is secreted. People with sensitive and vascular skin are recommended to exfoliate their skin much less frequently and preferably with an enzymatic peeling. Normal skin requires cleansing only once a week.

Before you proceed to perform the procedure, carefully examine your skin for irritation. Also, skip peeling when you plan to sunbathe or right after. Before the procedure itself, cleanse your face thoroughly with a gel, pat it dry and spray a toner to restore your skin’s natural pH.

Full body peeling
