It takes approx. 4 minutes to read this article

Autumn is a time when the skin requires special care. So it is worth preparing a home spa, take care of your skin and relax at the same time. We suggest which homemade masks are worth using then!

Beautiful, flawless and smooth skin – this is a dream of everyone, especially the fair sex. No wonder, everyone strives for the ideal seen on Instagram or in fashion magazines. And although most are aware that the pictures of actors and celebrities seen are largely thanks to graphic designers, they secretly dream that their complexion was equally beautiful. Various skin care treatments can certainly help. And note – it is not at all necessary to spend a fortune in beauty salons or buy expensive cosmetics. Many great face masks can be made on your own, often from products that everyone has at home.

Pumpkin mask

Pumpkin is an inseparable element of autumn. Beautiful, orange, perfectly suitable for soup or home decoration. Few people know that it can also be a sensational mask. It has excellent properties, contains vitamins: A, C, E, K, thiamine, niacin, riboflavin, vitamin B6, folic acid and numerous minerals, such as iron, calcium, zinc, sodium, phosphorus, potassium or magnesium. Thanks to such ingredients, pumpkin has a purifying effect on the skin, soothes irritation, removes dead skin cells and cleanses it. Pumpkin mask is an ideal option for people with dry skin. To prepare it, we need:

  • 1 egg,
  • 4 teaspoons of honey,
  • 70 g of pumpkin pulp.

Blend the pulp from the hollowed out pumpkin. Put into a bowl, add honey and whole egg. Mix everything until you get a homogeneous mass. Apply it on a cleansed face and leave for about 20 minutes. Thoroughly rinse with lukewarm water. This mask should be used 2 times a week.

Simple anti-wrinkle plum face mask

Plums are rich in vitamins and minerals. Thanks to this, they have anti-free radical properties and delay the skin aging process. Plum mask is also a great choice for people with vascular skin; it strengthens it perfectly

To make such a homemade cosmetic, we need only a few ripe plums and some honey. Remove the seeds from them and blend into a thick paste. Add honey and mix. This mask smoothes out the skin, tightens pores and reduces wrinkles.

Purifying, moisturizing and smoothing apple mask

Apples are still underestimated in cosmetics and that is a mistake because their beneficial properties have a great influence on our beauty. They brighten the complexion, cleanse, firm and prevent wrinkles. To make a mask from apples, we will need:

  • a large tablespoon of honey,
  • an apple of medium size.

Grate an apple and mix it with honey. Apply this paste on the face, neck and cleavage and leave for almost half an hour. Then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and clean the skin with a towel. This mask has moisturizing, nourishing and cleansing properties.

Nourishing and brightening rosehip mask

Rose hips are often seen on walks, but hardly anyone uses them to make homemade cosmetics. It is a pity, because they have many valuable properties which can improve the look and condition of our complexion. Its composition is really impressive; rosehips are rich in vitamins: A, B1, B2, C, E, P,K, folic acid and minerals such as calcium, potassium, phosphorus and magnesium. To make a mask you will need:

  • 20 rosehips

We have to remove the seeds and stems from the fruits. We put them in a pot, pour a small amount of water and cook until soft. Then drain and blend into a uniform, smooth mass. Wait until it cools down and apply it on your face for about 15 minutes. Wash it off thoroughly

Such a mask will sensationally nourish our skin, brighten it and regenerate. It is especially recommended for people with combination skin.

Pear rejuvenating mask

As autumn comes, so do pears which are rich in vitamins and minerals. These fruits can also be used to prepare a great mask which, if applied regularly, will make wrinkles appear smoother, the complexion brighter and reduce sebum secretion.

To prepare a pear mask we need

  • half a small pear,
  • – 1.5 teaspoons of honey,
  • 1 tablespoon of 12% or 18% cream,
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.

Grate the pear. Add honey, cream and lemon. The whole mix intensively to combine the ingredients. Apply the mask on your face for 15-20 minutes and wash it off with a cotton ball soaked in lukewarm water or milk.
