The breakfast you eat should contain the right amount of calories. Experts recommend 350 to 500 calories. This is an optimal portion that improves concentration.

What foods should you reach for?

Vegetables and fruit are a great source of nutrients. But don’t think of them as the mainstay of your breakfast. Your breakfast should be based on whole grains (bread, cereals) and dairy (natural yogurt, milk, eggs, cheese). Examples? Make an omelet with chopped fresh vegetables (e.g., tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers). Make natural yogurt with oatmeal, dried cranberries, and flaked almonds. Try whole grain toast with peanut butter and banana.
